A print from a digital image created in a virtual world. Prints from this plate are also included in one of two triptychs, The Nun and The Miller, The Digital Pilgrims. The Host, another of The Digital Pilgrims, is also available as a single print.
Photopolymer etching, on Hahnemühle natural, 300g, Cranfield ink. 19.5 x 11 cm. Edition of 25.
The inking technique I use is a la poupée, where the ink is applied to the plate as different selected colours and blended, and then printed. This process takes time and every print is individual.
